غالبًا ما تُستخدم في السياقات الرسمية أو التقديرية. تراكيب شائعة: 'praising someone for...'، 'keep praising'، 'praising highly'. لا تخلط بينها وبين 'شكر'؛ 'praise' تعني الإعجاب أو الموافقة.
