Apagar la energía eléctrica de un dispositivo o máquina para que deje de funcionar por completo.
Usage Notes (Spanish)
Se usa principalmente para aparatos electrónicos como computadoras, celulares o máquinas. Es más formal que 'turn off' y aparece en instrucciones o mensajes del sistema ('Please power off your device'). No se utiliza para luces, allí se dice 'turn off'.
