ポアラーは、ボトルなどの容器に付けて液体を少しずつ簡単に注げる器具です。

「ポアラー」はワインやオリーブオイルなど、調理やバーで主に使われる道具です。人には使いません。日常会話よりも器具の説明で用いられます。
