液体を何かの上にかけること、または大量の雨や努力・称賛などが一気に注がれることを指す表現。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
単に「かける」より激しい印象がある。雨や努力・称賛が一度にすごく多くなる場面でよく使う。『pour on the praise』『pour on the effort』など特定のフレーズでも使われる。
