Bir durumun, fikrin veya şeyin yararlı veya iyi yönleridir. Genellikle avantaj ve dezavantaj kıyaslarında kullanılır.

Genellikle çoğul kullanılır ve 'negatives' (olumsuz yönler) ile karşılaştırılır. 'look for the positives' ifadesi olumlu tarafları aramak demektir. Kişilik için kullanılmaz.
