비공식적이며 주로 영국 영어에서 쓰이는 표현. 여러 옵션 중 신중하게 결정할 때 사용함. 대개 명사와 함께 사용('plump for the blue one' 등). 'plump'(포동포동한)과 혼동하지 말 것. 미국 영어에서는 드물게 사용됨.
