"plucking" in Japanese

Definition

髪や羽などを強く引っ張って抜くこと。また、楽器の弦を指で弾くことにも使います。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

「plucking」は眉毛や鶏の羽、ギターやバイオリンの弦を弾く時によく使います（'plucking eyebrows', 'plucking a chicken', 'plucking the guitar'）。「picking」や「pulling」と間違えないようにしましょう。
