Definition

耕すとは、畑を植え付ける準備のために土を鋤で掘り起こすことです。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主に農業用語で使われます。比喩的に「仕事を次々片付ける」（plowing through work）のようにも使われます。「畑」や「土地」とよく一緒に使います。
