「planed」は、かんなで木をなめらかにすることや、鳥や飛行機が空中を滑るように飛ぶことを指します。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

大工や木工で「planed wood」として使い、つるつるに整えた木材を指します。鳥や飛行機が空中をなめらかに飛ぶ場合にも使います。「planned」（計画した）とは異なります。
