'Placing' 'place' का वर्तमान क्रियारूप है। आदेशों में ('placing the item'), प्रतियोगिताओं में ('placing second'), और जिम्मेदारी सौंपने में ('placing someone in charge') आम है। 'जगह बनाना' के लिए इसका प्रयोग नहीं होता।
