맞추기이어붙이기

Definition

각각의 조각이나 부분을 모아 하나로 완성하는 것. 퍼즐이나 여러 정보, 이야기 등을 맞추는 데 주로 쓰인다.

주로 ‘piecing together’처럼 진행형으로 사용한다. 퍼즐, 퀼트, 단서 등 여러 요소를 맞추거나 연결할 때 적합하다. 작은 한 부분을 고칠 때는 사용하지 않는다.

She is piecing the puzzle together.
