重い工具で、長い柄と金属の頭があり、硬い地面や岩、コンクリートを壊すときに使います。

採掘、建設、園芸などのときによく使います。「axe」は木を切る道具、「つるはし」は地面や石を壊します。日常会話ではあまり使いません。
