Fotostat, eski tip bir fotoğraf kopyalama makinesiyle yapılan kopyadır. Terim hem makineyi hem de kopyayı ifade edebilir.

Günümüzde nadiren kullanılır, genellikle tarihi belgelerde veya eski teknik referanslarda görülür. Modern 'fotokopi' anlamına gelmez.
