Definition

薬や健康関連の商品を販売し、処方箋を受け付けるお店です。

「薬局」は複数形で、処方箋を扱う場所です。「pharmacist」（薬剤師）とは異なるので注意。「24時間営業の薬局」などと言います。イギリスでは「chemist」と呼ばれることもあります。
