Usage Notes (Hindi)

थोड़ा औपचारिक या साहित्यिक। तब प्रयोग होता है जब कोई चीज़ स्पष्ट देखने या कठिनाई से देखने की कोशिश कर रहा हो (जैसे दूर, धुंधलापन, अंधेरा)। 'stare' (घूरना, गहराई से देखना) या 'glance' (जल्दी देखना) से न मिलाएँ। अक्सर 'through glasses', 'into the distance' जैसे वाक्यों में आता है।
