細い隙間や小さな空間から素早くこっそりとのぞくこと。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

主に口語表現で、カーテンや窓などの隙間からこっそり覗き見る場合に使う。'peek' だけだと『さっと見る』意味、'peek through' は何か越しに覗くニュアンス。
