सड़क के किनारे बनाई गई समतल, कठोर सतह जहाँ लोग चलते हैं; सामान्यतः किसी भी पक्की सतह को भी कहा जा सकता है।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

"Pavements" ब्रिटिश अंग्रेज़ी में 'sidewalks' (अमेरिकी अंग्रेज़ी) के लिए है। यह मुख्यतः फुटपाथ या रास्ते के किनारे पैदल चलने की जगह को कहते हैं, सड़क नहीं।
