在医院或接受医生治疗的人。也指能够保持冷静、即使长时间等待或遇到问题也不会生气的人。

'Patient' 既是名词（就医的人），也是形容词（有耐心的）。当名词时，通常只指医疗场合的人；当形容词时，用于“be patient”或“very patient”等表达。常与名词'patience'（耐心）混淆。
