Definition

人が歩くための細い道。また、人生や仕事において進む方向や過程も表す。

物理的な道と比喩的な進路の両方で使う。「forest path」「career path」など。道より細くて非公式なニュアンスがある。

We walked along the path by the river.

私たちは川沿いの**道**を歩いた。

The path to the school is short.

学校への**道**は短い。
