Remendar ou reparar algo rapidamente, normalmente de forma provisória. Também pode referir-se a fazer as pazes ou melhorar uma relação depois de uma discussão.

Expressão informal. Utilizada tanto para arranjos rápidos ('patch up a tire') como para relações interpessoais ('patch up after a fight'). Indica uma solução provisória. Não é usada para reparações de grande porte.
