小包荷物

Definition

郵便や宅配便などで送ったり届けられたりする、包装された箱や荷物のこと。たいてい小型から中型サイズ。

‘小包’や‘荷物’は、郵便や宅配便の送り物に使う。とても大きい貨物には使わない。‘parcel’はややかたい表現。‘deliver parcels’は「小包を届ける」、‘send a parcel’は「小包を送る」など。

Three parcels arrived for you this morning.

今朝、あなた宛てに三つの**小包**が届きました。
