Cuando el cielo está completamente cubierto de nubes, haciendo que el día se vea gris y sin luz solar directa.

Se usa mucho en reportes del clima y conversaciones cotidianas. 'Overcast' indica un cielo cubierto totalmente de nubes, diferente de 'cloudy' (que puede ser parcial). Normalmente no implica lluvia o tormenta, solo gris.
