すでにあるものや期待されているものに加えて、さらに何かがあることを示す表現です。追加やプラスの意味で使われます。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
やや形式的な場面や文章でよく使われます。「給料に加えて（over and above your salary）」のように、何か追加される時に使います。物理的な位置には使いません。
