주택과 분리되어 근처에 있는 작은 건물로, 주로 저장이나 기타 용도로 사용된다.

'부속 건물', '창고' 등으로 불리며, 주로 농촌이나 시골에서 볼 수 있다. 거주 용도가 아니고, '농장 부속 건물', '창고 부속 건물' 등으로 쓴다.
