用於表示「除了」或「除…之外」。用來指某事物與羣體或情況不同或被排除在外。
Usage Notes (Chinese (Traditional))
常見於正式與非正式場合。與「except for」意思接近，語氣稍正式。不能用來表示增加（那時用 besides），只能表排除。
