Definition

定員がいっぱいで今は入れないとき、空きが出るまで名前がリストに載って待つこと。クラスやイベント、サービスなどで使われる。

学校やイベント、医療分野などでよく使います。フォーマル・インフォーマルどちらでも大丈夫です。必ず「ウェイティングリスト」や「順番待ちリスト」と言います。
