Expresión semi-formal, usada mucho al hablar de seguridad o cuando alguien debe poner mucha atención. Aparece en advertencias: 'Esté en alerta contra carteristas.' Similar a 'estar en guardia', pero 'en alerta' enfatiza la atención, no la defensa directa.
