절대 섞이지 않거나 어울리지 않는 두 가지 또는 두 사람을 비유적으로 표현할 때 씁니다.

'기름과 물처럼'이라는 표현으로 주로 서로 안 맞는 성격, 생각을 설명할 때 자주 씁니다. 마냥 부정적은 아니고, 단지 달라서 어울리지 못함을 뜻합니다.
