Definition
閉塞は、通路や穴がふさがれて塞がれることをいいます。医療や歯科では、血管の詰まりや歯を噛み合わせた状態を指します。

主に医療や歯科で使う専門的な用語です。「arterial occlusion」（動脈閉塞）や「dental occlusion」（噛み合わせ）などで使います。日常会話ではあまり使いません。「obstruction」とは異なり、完全なふさがりや正確な接触を表します。
