観察する守る祝う
Definition
誰かや何かを注意深く見て、詳細を知ること。また、規則を守ったり、行事を祝う意味もある。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
「観察する」は「見る」よりもフォーマルで、科学や学術、法律の場でよく使う。「observe the law」は法律を守る、「observe a holiday」は祝うという意味。
