教皇大使とは、教皇が外国に派遣する公式な外交代表で、特にバチカンの代理人です。

「教皇大使」はカトリックや外交通信で使われる堅い表現で、日常会話ではほとんど使われません。正式名称は「使徒的公使」とも呼ばれます。
