Usage Notes (Korean)

주로 직장, 상, 위원회, 선거 등 공식적인 상황에서 사용됨. 'nominate to the board'처럼 직책 뒤에 사용함. 'appoint'(정식 임명)와는 다르고, 보통 수동형('was nominated to')으로 쓰임. 상에 대해서는 'nominate for'를 사용함.
