Definition

緘默症是一種醫學或心理狀況，指一個人無法或不願說話。可能由身體、情感或心理因素引起。

「緘默症」多用於醫學與心理學領域，常見有「選擇性緘默症」（兒童）及「創傷性緘默症」。不同於單純沉默或靜默，有明顯臨牀障礙。
