直接繪製在牆上的大型圖畫或藝術作品，常見於公共場所，如建築物、學校或城市街道。

通常指給公眾觀賞的大型藝術作品。常見用語有“繪製壁畫”、“社區壁畫”。不要與“塗鴉”混淆（未經許可的街頭藝術）。壁畫可以是臨時的或永久的。
