Definition

誰かや何かに近づくこと、または場所・目標・アイデアなどに向かって進むこと。物理的にも比喩的にも使われます。

直訳も比喩も両方で使われる。「move towards a solution」は「解決に向かって進む」となる。“move forward”とは違い、方向や目標が明確な場合に使います。
