Definition

কোনো কিছু করার নির্দিষ্ট উপায় বা শৈলী; প্রযুক্তিতে এটি কোনো যন্ত্র বা অ্যাপের নির্দিষ্ট সেটিং বা ফাংশন বোঝাতে ব্যবহৃত হয়।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

'silent mode', 'flight mode', 'quick wash mode' ইত্যাদির মতো প্রযুক্তিতে বেশি ব্যবহৃত হয়; আবার 'mode of communication' বা 'mode of dress' লিখিত ও ফরমাল কথায় বেশি দেখা যায়। 'mood' (মানসিক অবস্থা) বা 'modem' (যন্ত্র) শব্দের সঙ্গে গুলিয়ে ফেলবেন না।
