Definition

“Mistresses” 通常指與已婚人士有戀愛或性關係的女性。它也可以指某事物的女主人，但這種用法現今較少見。

Usage Notes (Chinese (Traditional))

現今主要指與已婚男子有關係的情人，“女主人”的意思已過時。屬正式/文學用語，常帶貶義。不要與“Mrs.”（夫人）或“女老師”（schoolmistress，已不常用）混淆。
