移民是指从一个地方搬到另一个地方的人，通常是为了找工作或更好的生活条件，可以是跨国也可以是国内迁移。

“移民”多用于正式或新闻报告中，指国内或国际迁徙以就业、经济等为主。不要与“移居者”（immigrant，指进入的）或“难民”（refugee，因被迫逃离）混淆。常用搭配："外来务工人员"、"移民社区"。
