メソジストは18世紀にジョン・ウェスレーの教えに基づいて始まったキリスト教プロテスタントの一派、メソジスト教会の信者や関係者のことです。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

「メソジスト」は宗教的な文脈でのみ使います。人や教会、伝統などに用い、「方法」という意味では使われません。必ずカタカナで表記し、大文字相当です。
