何度も繰り返して、正確に内容を覚えること。一字一句そのまま記憶する場合が多いです。

「暗記した」は歌や詩、スピーチ、テストの答えなど細かい内容をそのまま覚えたときに使います。「覚えた」よりも正確に記憶しているニュアンスがあります。
