「覚書」はビジネスや公的な場面での情報伝達用の短い公式文書や連絡メモを指します。複数形です。

「覚書」はビジネスや公務で使う正式な言葉です。日常では「メモ」とも言いますが、正式な複数書類の時は「覚書」を使います。
