खसरा एक अत्यधिक संक्रामक वायरल रोग है जिसमें बुखार और त्वचा पर लाल चकत्ते होते हैं, यह मुख्य रूप से बच्चों को प्रभावित करता है।

अंग्रेज़ी में 'measles' हमेशा बहुवचन में आता है, पर यह एक ही बीमारी है। आमतौर पर 'have/get measles', 'measles outbreak', 'measles vaccine' जैसे वाक्यांशों में मिलता है। इसे 'chickenpox' (चिकनपॉक्स) या 'mumps' (गलसुआ) से न मिलाएं।
