動物の大きく開いた口や喉、胃を意味します。比喩的に、恐ろしいほど大きな穴や開口部にも使われます。
Usage Notes (Japanese)
主に文学や詩的表現で使用され、日常会話ではほとんど使われません。「獣の大口」「闇の大口」など比喩的に使うことが多いです。
