আনুষ্ঠানিক ও শিক্ষাগত প্রসঙ্গে ব্যবহৃত হয়, বিশেষত উচ্চশিক্ষায়। দৈনন্দিন কথোপকথনে 'ভর্তি' বা 'নথিভুক্ত' বেশি প্রচলিত।
