Definition

誰かと結婚すること、または他の二つのものを上手く組み合わせることを指します。結婚式を執り行う意味もあります。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

動詞としては直接目的語をとるのが一般的。「She married him.」は自然ですが、「married with him.」は不自然です。自分が結婚するときは「get married to」がよく使われます。「married them」は結婚式を執り行うという意味でも使います。二つを組み合わせる場合はフォーマルな表現。
