侯爵は、いくつかのヨーロッパ諸国で公爵の下、伯爵の上に位置する貴族の称号です。

「侯爵」は主に歴史や儀式の中で使われ、日常ではほとんど用いません。女性形は「侯爵夫人（marchioness）」です。イギリス英語では「marquess」「marchioness」も見かけます。
