何かに成功すること、時間通りに到着すること、または困難な状況を乗り越えることを意味します。目標を達成したり、イベントに参加できた時に使います。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

くだけた表現で、日常会話でよく使われます。「make it to (an event)」はイベントに行ける意味です。物を作る『make』とは別です。
