多数指的是一个群体中较大的一部分或超过一半的人。也可以指人成为法定成年人的年龄。

常用于统计、政治和投票中。常见搭配有 'vast majority', 'narrow majority', 'majority of' 通常接复数名词。不要与 'plurality' 混淆，plurality 只是最大数量，未必超过一半。
