‘Mademoiselle’-এর বহুবচন, যা ফরাসি ভাষার শব্দ; এটি ভদ্রভাবে একাধিক তরুণী বা অবিবাহিত নারীকে সম্বোধন করতে ব্যবহৃত হয়।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

বেশিরভাগ সময় ফ্রান্স বা ফরাসি সংস্কৃতি নিয়ে কথা বলার সময় ব্যবহৃত হয়। আধুনিক বাংলায় খুব কমই শোনা যায়, এর বদলে 'মুখ উন্নত তরুণী' বা ইংরেজি 'মিস' বেশি প্রচলিত।
