学校や職場でみんなが一緒に昼食を食べる部屋です。テーブルや椅子があり、食事を提供することもあります。

アメリカ英語でよく使われ、学校や職場のための表現です。日本では通常「食堂」と訳されます。「レストラン」の意味ではありません。
